The Lord wiping away a tear.

"God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes!" (Revelation 21:4)

The Lord doesn't say there aren't going to be any tears in Heaven. When we get to Heaven and face the Lord we'll all have a few tears to shed for things we missed, opportunities we lost, mistakes we made. We'll still have a few tears when we think about all that we could have done and failed to do and all the unfinished work we left behind, and our loved ones that we'll wish we'd loved more and wish we'd been kinder to. We will all have something to be ashamed of then!

But isn't the Lord wonderful and loving and merciful? He says He's going to wipe away all those tears, and He's going to wipe away all that memory of those evil years, and there will be no more pain, no more death, no more sorrow, no more tears, only eternal, wonderful happiness, joy and paradise on Earth forever and ever. He'll make up for it all somehow!

For just a little more sorrow and a little more crying, a little more pain, and then these things of time shall be no more. And we shall forget the sorrows of the past for the glories of the future! "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory." (2Cor.4:17) Thank You Jesus!
