We must consider first, that practically every person who is involved in some sort of false doctrine or cult is completely unaware of the satanic spirits with which they are having fellowship. They are completely deluded. In short, the person who is saturated with the spirit of the Devil is no more than a dumb sheep, or in most cases, a dumb goat, led away with their own fleshly lusts. They desire to become perfected by practicing a religion. They learn "How to work their way to Heaven." Christianity is not a religion. According to the Bible, you cannot work your way to Heaven. In fact, Christianity is exactly the opposite of some once a week, satanic, hypocritical, craptaole "works doctrine" like churchianity. A false cult or ism is essentially a philosophy of man's work, whereas Christianity is wholly a work of God for man. Of course, in false, Satanic systems, the Devil scatters some truth as bait, to make the lie attractive, like a sugar coated death pill. Although many religions may appear to be quite harmless, if it presents a way other than the shed blood of Jesus Christ, it is as false as the Devil and as deadly as Hell. For "though we or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which ye have received (of Christ) let him be accursed." (Galatians 1:18)
Following are listed a few false cults, with an explanation of what they teach and believe. It is not the purpose of this paper to give you a detailed picture of the history and operation of these satanic religions, but rather to give you a good idea of just how to combat them with the Word of God.
Christian Science:
Began in early 1900's. It flatly denies reality and existence of matter. Matter is said to be a delusion of the mortal mind. Yet, as most hypocrites, they live in materialism, and have sickness. 1 Timothy 6:20 - it is a science falsely so called.
Denies a personal relationship with God. Their God is impersonal. Their Jesus was not born of a virgin (Luke 1:30-35), and was not perfect (Psalm 38:7) - the seed of the male is diseased - Psalm 51:5 - therefore all men were born in sin. But Jesus was conceived of the Holy Ghost, not man and was therefore perfect. Their Jesus was not the Lamb of God, not raised from the dead, (Luke 24:1-6), and is coming again. (Acts 1:11) Their Jesus merely was the first person who started the principles of Christian Science which was later more fully and completely organized by Mary Baker Eddy. There is no need for conversion since sin is not real (1 John 1:8-10). There is no heaven or hell (Revelation 19:20) and marriage is only a legalized lust.
Roman Catholicism:
This false cult has superimposed man's teachings upon the Scripture, (Proverbs 30:6, Revelation 22:18,19). They teach the Bible is not the only infallible Word of God. An utterance of the Pope is on a par with with Scripture - (Isaiah 8:20). The Pope is God's living personal representative of Christ on the earth (1 John 2:1-2), All other religions are heretics and are bound for Hell. Peter was the first Pope (Matthew 16:22-23) . Only priests are capable of understanding the Bible. (Proverbs 2:2-5)
Mormonism:
This so called "Christian" cult found its origin in the hills of New York State (1823) when an "angel of light" (Galatians1:18) loaned a pair of pink spectacles to translate some golden plates which he found in these hills (1 Timothy 4:7). These plates used a "reformed Egyptian language" -- which oddly enough, no scholars of today ever heard about. Later both the plates and the magic spectacles disappeared - well, what do you know about that! According to Mormon doctrine there were three migrations of holy men from ancient lands to America - the last migration made by Christ Himself in 35 A.D, -- after His resurrection (Amos 3:7) - In the "Book of Memory" which Joseph Smith translated from the golden tablets, there were 300 direct quotes from the Bible, and whole chapters were paraphrased. The funny thing about it is there is no hint that they came out of the original scriptures. Their devilish doctrine says that Adam was God, (Genesis 3:9-12), Eve was the wife of God. They deny the virgin birth and the pre-existence of Christ. (Revelation 13:8). They say that Christ was just another prophet alongside the Mormon prophets. The Bible is the Word of God, only so far as it is correctly translated (2 Timothy 3:16), whereas the Book of Mormon is the Word of God, period! (Proverbs 30:6)
The Mormon salvation - keeping the laws and ordinances of their church (Titus 3:5) and only baptized Mormons go to the 7th level of heaven. The Old Testament priesthood - which came to an end at Calvary - was resumed by Joseph Smith. (John 1:17) They also believe that you are married in Heaven to your earthly wife. (Matthew 22:29-30) What a joke!
Jehovah Witnesses:
They have changed their name 7 times (Proverbs 28:13) since their origin (1914). They believe that if you study Russel and Rutherford's 6 volume set of teachings (Galatians 1:9) you don't need the Bible. (Isaiah 8:20) If you study the Bible without them (1 John 2:27) you will eventually end up in outer darkness. They reject any idea that Jesus is God (John 1:1) and claim that the death of Christ merely cancels the wrongdoing of Adam. (1 John 2:22, 1 John 4:1-3) They believe that everyone will have another chance at salvation (Hebrews 9:27) during the Millennium (which began in 1914). Christ returned to the earth in 1874, (Revelation 1:7) and His throne was set up as King over the nations in 1914 (2 Peter 1:20) - which date also marked the end of Satan's power (I wonder if Satan knows this?). If you fail to join them, you move to hopeless despair - extinction, which also means all those people from 30 AD., to 1914 were lost.
Unitarian:
This cult incorporates the same stamp as that of Christian Science -- the brand of the Devil. Since they quote a lot from the Bible, it is extreme deceiving. Its doctrine portrays God simply as a Divine mind. Christ is the Son of God only as we all are (John 3:16). They say Jesus was just the first person to realize Himself, and the Holy Spirit is the wife of Christ. Man is simply the image of God's mind.
Salvation: To deny false ideas (for example: man is a sinner, 1 John 1:8) and to affirm the truth, you must come to the, "I am Christ" realization (John 1:12). Their only heaven is the perfected mind -- Hell is the opposite! (Revelation 19:20)
7th Day Adventists:
If ever there was a religion that attempted to combine the Old Testament Mosaic law and the grace of Jesus Christ - here it is. Here is a religion for the in betweeners, the compromisers, the neutrals, and lukewarmers (Revelation 3:16). They continue to serve the Law (Galatians 5:4) which came to an end at Calvary (John 1:17). If you don't observe the Sabbath day (Saturday) they say you are eternally lost. Their false doctrine continues and says only 144,000 saved people will be here at the second coming (Revelation 7:9), when the Devil passes into a state of non-existence (Revelation 20:10). Unfortunately, these lost people seem to forget that we are bought with a price (1 Cor. 6:20) and Jesus paid the price on Calvary and He hath made us and not we ourselves. (Psalm 100:3)
Bahai:
Bahai is an example of the final consummation of all false religions; it points, of course, to a one-world man-made dictatorial government which will no doubt lead to the eventual anti-Christ government.

Equality of men and women

Spiritual solution of economic problem (666) - Daniel 11:24
Universal auxiliary language (one speech) - Genesis 11:1 8b
Universal peace upheld by world government - Daniel 11:21, 24.
Conclusion
There seems to be only one logical conclusion, at least logically according to God's only written Word, the Bible, that we could possibly come to. That is simply, God will show 100% truth only to those who will go 100% of the way with Jesus. As for the remainder of civilization, most of which is God-damned and quite craptable. lying lips are abomination to the Lord (Proverbs 12:22) and a false witness shall not be unpunished; and he that speaketh lies shall not escape. (Proverbs 19:5). Woe to the bloody city (USA). It is full of lies and robbery (Nahum 3:1); their throat is an open sepulcher; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips (Romans 3:13). And they will deceive everyone his neighbor, and will not speak the truth. They have taught their tongue-to speak lies (Jeremiah 9:5); and all those fearful, unbelieving, and abominable, and murders, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with f ire and brimstone which is the second death. (Revelation 21:8)
